Tiny Clutch Problems: What’s in a purse
You’re on a date and the last thing you need to worry about is looking too shiny or licking your lips too much because they’re dryer than the Sonoran desert. Whether it’s a date, a company party or the club, a small clutch is the perfect go to bag. The problem? It’s as tiny as Paris Hilton’s Chihuahua #nooffense. Well I’m about to change your world because I have the list to solve your tiny clutch problems. These are without fail, your holy grail items you should always keep, and squish, into your clutch (aside from some money, ID’s and your phone of course).
What PowerB!tches Carry in Their Clutch (or purse)
You want to look like you got your life together, and the best way to do that is to carry the world in a small bag (or purse). It’s not a Hermes Kelly or a Speedy 30. Your clutch is like the size of a Faberge egg and yet people expect so much from you so show them you have what’s it got to solve the world’s problems. What you really need for touch-ups in your tiny clutch:
Choose a moisturizing lipstick in a nude/natural color that complements your skin tone and won’t get on your teeth. I mean if it does, lick it off and move on. You don’t have to worry about chapped or dry lips at the end of your date or when giving that big speech at your work event.
Matte Translucent Powder
Giving a presentation at a school event? Going out to lunch with your best gal pals? Don’t let an oily face make you feel all awkward. Carry a small compact of matte translucent powder (make sure it’s pressed and not loose!) to touch up your T-zone here and there. Keep from being an oily mess by keeping some blotting papers on hand too if it’s exceptionally humid where you are. No space for blotting papers? Grab a toilet seat cover from the bathroom, rip off a piece and dab your face with it…it’s basically the same material.
A Concealer Pencil
Sometimes our stress and nerves get the best of us and a pimple can greet us just like aunt flow. A small concealer pencil will put that blemish in its place. Show your dark circles whose boss and conceal that sucker. If anything, having a concealer pencil will make you feel just a little bit more confident knowing you have control over what shows up on that gorgeous mug of yours.
A black eyeliner is the one thing you need to go from school or work to a night out. Go from a conservative smoky eye at class or from your meeting to happy hour just by popping on some black eyeliner or going dramatic with a winged look. #rawr sister.
Pre-coated Blush Brush
Lastly, a pre-coated blush brush will keep you from looking flat or too chiseled. Ever had one of those days where your bronzer stayed in place but your blush kind of wore off and you look like a contoured mess? A pre-coated blush brush is the perfect way to add some color to your cheeks. It also makes it look like you just did your makeup and gives you the look of a fresh face. Beauty hacks for the win.
